Gobble Gobble & It's Okay Thursdays

Wow, is Thanksgiving really only 2 short weeks from today?!!
And that means Christmas is right around the corner!

I just love this time of year.

Since I will be hosting Thanksgiving this year I guess I should start working on my menu!

Speaking of turkeys, my hubby brought me home this plant last night :) cute, right?!

Okay now for a link-up !

Its Ok Thursdays

It's Okay that the diaper genie is full and I have been piling dirty diapers
on top until my hubby gets home  -
(I don't want to go outside in the blizzard to empty it)

It's okay that 6 months ago my backyard looked like this:

and this morning it looks like this:

It's okay that I'm wearing a beach coverup dress around the house today even though
 it's snowing outside right now.

It's okay that my treadmill is downstairs waiting for me and I am sitting here blogging instead.

It's okay that I have SO much Christmas shopping to do and only about 6 weeks to do it.

It's okay that the dryer is beeping to let me know it's time to fold the clothes, but I continue to ignore it while I finish this post.

Have a wonderful Thursday!

  1. I realized Thanksgiving was only 2 weeks away on Tues. I freaked! I thought it was 3. I host it every year and was like, OMG let me start buying things and I guess the turkey will have to be bought middle of next week sometime.

  2. I can't believe Thanksgiving is so soon! It sneaked up on us this year!

I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt around the apartment last night during snow. My roommate thought I was crazy, but I am glad someone else is with me!

  4. OMG did you say 6 weeks? Good grief...why do I always procrastinate on Christmas shopping then act as if it surprises me every year? LOL I wish I could see some snow, I'm in Florida where we are in the 70's still. Have a great day!

  5. Stopping by from the link up!
I can't begin to think about Christmas shopping, but mostly because 2 days after Christmas is my LO's 1st birthday and I haven't quite come to terms with that fact! SO SOON... where is the time going?
Glad I stopped by, adorable blog!
