I Heart The 90's

Remember how excited you would get when you got home from school and turned on the tv to see Zack Morris fighting with A.C. Slater for a date with Kelly Kapowski?

Or was that just me?

For anyone who knows me it's no secret...
I
Love
Cheesy
90s
STUFF

If I had my way, Saved By The Bell would still be airing new episodes today.
Have you seen Slater lately?
He could still pass for a high school kid, right?
Just throw a pair of baggy stone washed jeans on him and he's ready to go!

Has anyone seen Lisa Turtle lately?

If not you will probably be disappointed.... I know I was.

Before you scroll down any further please prepare yourself...

Maybe it's just me, but Lark Voorhies resembles Jason Voorhees more than Lisa Turtle.

She's dressed nice....her earrings are sparkly....but for some reason she scares me!

Moving along.....

So Mr. Belding is still trying to live off his famous role as the principal of Bayside
by making random appearances at bars across the country.

You're not cool anymore Mr. Belding.
People would much rather run into Zack or Slater @ the bar - not you.

Do you think YOU can name the top 10 songs of the 1990s?

Let's see how many you got right:

  1. Nirvana - "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
  2. U2 - "One"
  3. Backstreet Boys - "I Want It That Way
  4. Whitney Houston - "I Will Always Love You"
  5. Madonna - "Vogue
  6. Sir Mix-A-Lot - "Baby Got Back
  7. Britney Spears - "...Baby One More Time"
  8. TLC - "Waterfalls
  9. R.E.M. - "Losing My Religion"
  10. Sinéad O'Connor - "Nothing Compares 2 U"

I know what you are thinking...

WHY DIDN'T 98 DEGREES MAKE THE LIST?

I am pretty upset about it too...

Hopefully this helps:

I used to put this song on repeat and play it OVER & OVER AGAIN.
Now that I am watching this video I am having flashbacks
of my bedroom walls from when I was younger. They were completely covered with

all. things. 98 Degrees

I was a dork, I admit it :)

Did you all know that the good ole' WORLD WIDE WEB was invented in the 90's?

Imagine life without the internet?
I can't even for a second!

Another popular invention of the 90s?
V-I-A-G-R-A
LOL

What were some of the biggest problems of the 1990s you ask?

Well let's have Dawson Leary tell us the biggest issues he faced :

Who else used to blow in the Nintendo cartridges until the game started working again?
Somehow that made it into my sis's maid of honor speech @ my wedding - as the big sister that was my job to blow out all the Nintendo dust I guess :)

Now some randomness:

That last one is so true.

Have a fabulous Thursday :)
