11 Random Things About Lil' Ole ME:

 

1. I do my grocery shopping online....I know this may seem super lazy, but if my local grocery store offers curbside pickup for NO extra charge why wouldn't I take advantage of that?!

 

2. My least favorite household chore = folding laundry...I'd rather clean the toilet than fold my clothes.

 

3. Even though I am 32 years old...I still get carded everywhere I go....I am hoping this lasts forever!

 

4. I wear flip flops all year round - I live in New England and even when the snow is coming down I refuse to put my flops away :)

 

5. I love the color RED - super high red heels are my favorite things to wear!

 

6. I am obsessed with TV shows that involve true life crime stories.

 

7. I survived Hurricane Sandy with a bottle of wine & chicken quesadillas.

 

8. I used to sing in my church choir when I was younger.

 

9. I learned the hard way NEVER to get a perm...BIG mistake!

 

10. I watch all the Christmas cartoon specials every year even though I am over 3 decades old.

 

11. Spiders TERRIFY me - enough said!

 

 

 

 

Jennifer's Questions for ME:

 

 

If you could trade lives with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

Honestly, this answer may sound cheesy, but I wouldn't want to trade with anyone. My life is pretty great these days and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

 

What is your favorite holiday and why?

CHRISTMAS!!! When I was younger I was always so excited to open all MY presents but now that I have a daughter of my own I am looking forward to stuffing her stocking, helping her unwrap her presents under the tree, & lying to her for the next 10 - 13 years about a fat man in a red suit who stuffs himself down our chimney - why were we all so gulliable?

 

Do you have any siblings and what is your relationship like?

YES I do! I have two younger sisters and we are more like best friends than sisters. Luckily we all live within 15 minutes of each other and spend lots of time together - I consider myself very lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with my siblings.

 

What is your favorite comfort food? 

Macaroni & Cheese is a favorite mmmmmm!

 

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would love to take a trip to Santa Maria which is an island in the Azores off the coast of Portugal - my husband's family is from there and he used to spend summers there as a young boy. His family still owns a home there so I am looking forward to visting it when my daughter is older.

 

What TV show best describes your life? (old or new) 
King of Queens - my hubby reminds me of Doug Heffernan sometimes because of his love of food and sometimes when I boss him around he calls me Carrie :)

 

Do you still have any friends that you knew when you were a kid?

My cousin Melissa was my best friend growing up & we are still BFF's today :)

 

Do you name your car? If so, what is it?

Yes I always name my cars -  Mimi is the name of my SUV.

 

If you weren't blogging, what would you do with your time?

I don't have much time to blog with a new baby at home so I try to find time when she is napping or after she's gone to bed at night to catch up on my blogging. Most of my time is dedicated to taking care of her.

 

Let's say plastic surgery was very affordable, would you get any?

Sure, why not! We all have areas we wouldn't mind improving I'm sure...

 

What is your ideal way to spend New Years Eve?

A nice dinner out, a bottle of champage, and the ones you love.

The night that my hubby asked me to be his GF he gave me a necklace from Tiffanys with 3 hearts - I love that necklace and wear it all the time.

 

What is your worst personality trait? Be honest, no one is perfect.

S-T-U-B-B-O-R-N-E-S-S: I'll be the first to admit it... I am very stubborn, it's a fact.
